Baltikumi Aasia uuringute konverents BAAS

7.-9. aprillil toimub Tartu Ülikoolis Teine Aasia uuringutele keskenduv BAAS konverents, mille korraldajaks on  Orientalistikakeskus. Konverentsi eesmärgiks on kokku tuua uurijad Baltikumist ja mujalt, et esitleda oma uurimisvaldkondi ning arutleda erinevatel Aasia, Lähis-Ida ja Aafrika kultuure ja ühiskondi puudutavatel teemadel.

Kolmepäevase konverentsi jooksul on võimalik osa võtta väga erinevatest loengutest, paneeldiskussioonidest ja seminaridest. Esinema on kutsutud kolm peaesinejat – Audrius Beinorius (Vilniuse Ülikool), Gebhard J.Selz (Viini Ülikool), Robert Rollinger (Innsbrucki Ülikool).
